Day 2 - A Day with the Nature & Wildlife!

Rise and Shine! Sumptuous breakfast @ the hotel!

Munch, munch, munch ... ...

Learning Beyond the Classroom @ Rockingham Regional Environment Centre

Pupils mesmerised by the story behind the centre .....

"Look! This is a natural pesticide... Isn't it awesome? Everything here has no chemicals!"

Really up close and personal with nature!

The Loggerhead Turtles ~ we must save them!

Feeding the turtle ... Must be careful not to put your fingers into the water ... Fingers will not be returned!

It's a bobtail kink! We've never seen this reptile in Singapore before!

The brave ones with the snake ...

Teamwork - holding the moulted skin of the snake!

Looking through the specimens and microscopic slides ......

Before the pupils left, all of them chorused, "We want to come back here again!"

Lunch @ Whiteman's Cafe near Caversham Wildlife Park

Getting ready to encounter the wallabies, wombat and koalas ...

Feeding the wallabies!

What's everybody looking at?

Sleeping beauty? Nope, it's a hibernating koala!

It's wombat time ... our dream pet ... Mr Mah, can we have one in the aviary?

Show Time!

Brave volunteers from the Riverlites! A round of applause for Zhi Le and Lucian!

(Milk bottle in hand) "Am I supposed to finish this?"

"Be gentile to me ... Don't snatch my bottle!"

"Good kid, take your time to drink!"

Milking the cow ~ is it difficult?

Caged up? Where am I going?

To join in the company of the sheep......

Reluctantly, we left the place ... leaving behind our footprints in Caversham! Made our way to the chocolate company before proceeding for dinner.

Dinner @ Cafe Karache - a halal restaurant!

Satisfied customers ...

After dinner, we went back to the hotel and had our daily debrief. The teachers went round to check on our rooms at 9pm to ensure that it's neat and tidy. Impressive sight greeted the teachers from one of the girls' room ~ LOOK!

That's not all to the room. That's only the bedroom. All rooms come with the attached living room and dining area ... Isn't it spacious and comfortable?

Good night!
